Test experiment in Kaldfjord – where does the CO2 go

For finding out what happens to the climate gas CO2 after it is fixed by small algae and what bacteria have to do with all of this, Tobias started a test experiment in Kaldfjord near Tromsø. He put some microscopically small algae, bacteria, water, and labeled CO2 into carboys and left them for some days in the fjord before taking them out for later studies on where the CO2 ended up. In a model these kind of experiments can help to understand how algae and bacteria interact.
