Where:
The conference will be held in Tromsø, Norway, at the University of Tromsø.

How to get there:
Air:
Scandinavian Airlines and Norwegian have direct flights to Tromsø from several destinations in Norway. From the capital, Oslo, the flight takes 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Boat:
The Coastal Voyager has daily departures both northwards and southwards all year round. Approximate travel times are: Hammerfest (11 hours), Honningsvåg near North Cape (18 hours), Kirkenes (40 hours), Harstad (7 hours), Svolvær  in Lofoten (17 hours), Bodø (24 hours), Trondheim (54 hours) and Bergen (85 hours).

Visa:
The main rule is that every foreign national need a visa in order to visit Norway. There are however exeptions to this rule.

Language:
The national language is Norwegian, but most Norwegians speak English fluently. The official language of CSIXXXVIII is English.
