Conscious or conscientious?

The word conscious means “aware, able to use one’s senses and mental powers”(Norw. bevisst).

We are conscious of the risks involved
He was injured but conscious after the fall.

The word conscientious¬†means “taking care to do things carefully and correctly” (Norw. <em>samvittighetsfull</em>)

She is a conscientious student.
