Lena Schøning is a Research Fellow and Ph.D. candidate at the K.G. Jebsen Centre for the Law of the Sea (JCLOS). Her Ph.D. research project examines integrated ocean management, both from an international law perspective and a Norwegian perspective. She is investigating inter alia the implementation of integrated ocean management in Norway.
In addition to resource management and environmental issues, her research interests comprise governance and management. Prior to joining JCLOS, she worked as group counsel and legal counsel, secretary to and member of the board of directors for various Norwegian and international group of companies. She has also worked as a solicitor in Norway.
