In the face of deforestation and social exclusion, the Baka are managing to protect their identity and their natural resource.
While some plead for an opening to the external world, others find that it is better to go back to the traditions.
The aim of the film is to present the contradictions and the complementarities between modernity and traditionalism within the Baka community of Nomedjoh in South-Eastern Cameroon.
