I am Johanna Ericson Sollid. Professor in microbiology at the Department of Medical Biology (IMB). I am leading WP 6 in DigiBiotics, i.e. bacterial responses. I have my PhD in microbiology from Umeå University (Sweden). Since 1990, I have been working at UiT and from 1995 at the microbiology research group at IMB. I will contribute by my competence in medical microbiology and bacterial responses to antimicrobial agents. WP 6 aims to define the microbial targets and resistance development to provide feedback for refined design. Personally, I also find training young scientists a very important as well as stimulating task. I look forward to the DigiBiotics collaboration and to achieve our goals in the years to come.
