I am from a small town called Førde on the west coast of Norway. I finished my master degree at the university of Bergen in 2014 and has been working as a teacher in Oslo for three years before I started my PhD in Tromsø in 2017. During my masters, I studied the effects of varying the photon energy in photoelectron spectroscopy. To interpret these spectra, I made theoretical models using both classical molecular dynamics and electron structure methods. In addition to be a computational chemist, I define myself as a skier, a newspaper reader, a music festival addict and an enthusiastic TV-series watcher.
