Without a Board, there can be no more TODOS: no more representation, no more lobbying, and, most visibly, no more academic or social events for PhD candidates.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\">That&#8217;s why\u00a0<strong class=\"\">w<\/strong><strong class=\"\">e need enthusiastic, capable PhD candidates<\/strong>\u00a0(preferably early in their contracts)\u00a0<strong class=\"\">to get involved, step up, and be part of the 2016 TODOS Board<\/strong>.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><strong class=\"\">Benefits<\/strong>: for your time and effort,\u00a0UiT rewards you with\u00a0either an extension of your work contract or equivocation of teaching duty hours (<em class=\"\">pliktarbeid<\/em>).\u00a0You also develop\u00a0relevant,\u00a0hands-on skills and experience&#8230;things like &#8220;managing a group of volunteers&#8221;\u00a0or\u00a0&#8220;planning and organizing events&#8221; sound\u00a0good in your CV, besides your academic achievements. \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #212121; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\" lang=\"en-US\">If you intend to run for a position please send an\u00a0<\/span><\/span><a class=\"\" href=\"mailto:%20todos@uit.no\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #954f72; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\" lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Liberation Serif';\">e-mail<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #212121; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\" lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0indicating your interest and\u00a0what position you would like to run for (Board Chair, Board Vice-Chair, Chair of Academic Affairs, Chair of Social Affairs, Tresurer, or general Board Member).
