Project description

the project “Mineral resources in the Arctic: International cooperative research and teaching” is leading by Melanie Forien (Sabina Strmic Palinkas as co-leader). The main goal of this project is to connect students with leading geoscientists across different countries of the Arctic region and address together challenges in exploration and prospect of mineral resources.
Two activities are proposed to reach this goal: first, an international workshop to facilitate interaction and promote research among students and scientists from partner’s universities. And second, a collection of webinars (online research seminars) will be set up. Each month a new video will be published on a subject related to the exploration of mineral resources in the Arctic.
