Visit to The UNESCO World Heritage Rock Art Centre Alta Museum

We paid a visit to the UWH Rock Art Centre Alta Museum at the 26th of August 2019. We were kindly met by Anita Tapio, leader of the Department of Marked and Visitors. The students was given insights into the different roles of the museum and how they work. In addition they had the guided tour outside along the rock carvings.

The students worked together in groups of four and selected specific parts of the visit to make report about. Their reports are found in the drop-down menu above.

The museum is visited several times and at different theoretical levels throughout our educational programs. We are very pleased to have this cooperation with them and it gives valuable possibilities to link curriculum to practice.
