Aya defended her thesis october 26th and did an excellent job. We are so proud of you and all the best for the future. The defences was hybrid with 1. opponent Prof. Nina Kann digitally and 2. opponent Prof. Bård Helge Hoff, locally. Many thanks to the whole committee, including Vijayaragavan Elumalai as commitee leader, for their valuable contributions.
So nice to see that our work gets recognized. Congratulations to Ashot for the nice work.
You can find the highlight here and the original paper here.
You find the work in “Organic Process Research and Development” : https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs.oprd.0c00325.
In the beginning of this summer, Annette was interviewed by Forskning.no about our work on beta-lactamase inhibitors. Forskning.no is an independent news channel for norwegian and international science news and it is fun that they picked-up our work for a highlight. Have a look at the interview here:

The first paper of the year out on january 2nd! What a nice start for the new year. Let´s hope its a good sign! Congrats to Marc and Ashot!
This month two new PhD students will start. Alexandra will work with carbapenemase inhibitors and Martin will work with CO2. Welcome to both!
