{"id":7216,"date":"2022-01-10T08:00:16","date_gmt":"2022-01-10T07:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/cage\/?p=7216"},"modified":"2023-04-04T10:29:02","modified_gmt":"2023-04-04T08:29:02","slug":"cage-invites-may-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/cage\/2022\/01\/10\/cage-invites-may-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"CAGE Invites Conference &#8211; 31st May 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>In its final year as a Centre of Excellence, the Centre for Arctic Gas hydrate, environment and climate (CAGE) will organise the CAGE Invites Conference (Tuesday 31st May 2022) to put a focus on the \u2018Changing Arctic: Ocean, Ice, and Climate\u2019.<\/h6>\n<h6>With several keynote speakers from the Troms\u00f8 Arctic research community, this conference will present work related to the changing Arctic, from identifying the physical changes (past, present, and future), to the societal implications, and mitigation efforts.<\/h6>\n<h6>Understanding the changes occurring in the Arctic requires collaborative and interdisciplinary action. If you have difficulties with this, send the abstract to Mariana Esteves (mariana.esteves@uit.no).<\/p>\n<h6>Keynote speakers<\/h6>\n<p>Please send your completed presentations to Mariana Esteves (mariana.esteves@uit.no), no later than <strong>23rd May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each presentation should be less than 15 mins to allow time for questions.<\/p>\n<h6>Poster presentations<\/h6>\n<p>There is no restriction on the size of the posters, although ideally no bigger than A0. If you use something that cannot be put up using tape or white tack, please bring your own stand\/attachments. We will have volunteers who can help you put these up. The posters should be put up before the start of the conference (10am, 31st May).
