{"id":7373,"date":"2022-02-08T12:50:37","date_gmt":"2022-02-08T11:50:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/cage\/?p=7373"},"modified":"2023-04-04T10:29:02","modified_gmt":"2023-04-04T08:29:02","slug":"cage-international-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/cage\/2022\/02\/08\/cage-international-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"CAGE International Conference on &#8216;Methane in a changing Arctic&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6><strong>The Centre for Arctic Gas Hydrate, Environment and Climate (CAGE) at UiT &#8211; The Arctic University of Norway welcomes your participation in the International Conference on Methane in a Changing Arctic, to be held in Troms\u00f8, 14-16th September.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>This conference aims to bring together scientists working on all aspects of Arctic methane and its role in the global carbon cycle. It will provide an interdisciplinary forum for discussion and exchange of knowledge relating to our current understanding of these complex systems and their response to and impact on, the rapid environmental and climatic changes that characterise the Arctic.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will address themes including the formation, storage, cycling, transport, release and budgets of methane through the Arctic geo-, hydro-, cryo- and atmosphere since the onset of Northern Hemisphere glaciation and towards the future.
