Hot on the heels of a <a title=\"Welcome to the CASTL blog: hot off the press!\" href=\"http:\/\/castlnews.wordpress.com\/2010\/11\/29\/hello-world\/\">book she co-edited<\/a>, she has had a paper published in the <a href=\"http:\/\/journals.cambridge.org\/action\/displayJournal?jid=NJL\">Nordic Journal of Linguistics<\/a>.\u00a0Co-authored with former UiT\/CASTL colleagues <a href=\"http:\/\/person2.sol.lu.se\/GunnarHrafnHrafnbjargarson\/\">Gunnar Hrafn Hrafnbjargarson<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/person2.sol.lu.se\/AnnaLenaWiklund\/\">Anna-Lena Wiklund<\/a> (both now at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lu.se\">Lund University<\/a> in Sweden), it is entitled\u00a0<em>Observations on extraction from V2 clauses in Scandinavian <\/em>and can be read <a href=\"http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1017\/S0332586510000223\">here<\/a> with the right subscriptions.<\/p>\n<p>As if that were not enough, it has just been announced that Kristine&#8217;s project on language acquisition by Saami children has received financial support from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forskningsradet.no\">Research Council of Norway<\/a> under its FRIHUM programme. Congratulations, Kristine!<\/p>\n<p><em>Update<\/em>: We should of course have mentioned that the Saami language acquisition project is to be led by Kristine Bentzen together with CASTL affiliate <a href=\"http:\/\/castl.uit.no\/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&amp;task=userProfile&amp;user=93&amp;Itemid=119\">Berit Anne Bals Baal<\/a>.
