We are happy to announce the trial lecture and disputas of Joe Collins <\/strong>which will take place on October, 18th 2019.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Joe’s thesis Neural Attractors and Phonological Grammar<\/strong> was written under the supervision of professor Martin Kr\u00e4mer<\/a> (UiT) and professor Allessandro Treves<\/a>, SISSA (Scuola Internazionale Superiore de Studi Avanzati). <\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
The trial lecture<\/a> entitled Adding a learning component to the Phonological Latching Network for language development (as in, development of sound inventories, sound patterns, lexical representations, second language sound patterns)<\/span> will be held from 10.15-11.00<\/strong> in room  SVHUM E0.101.<\/strong> <\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
The disputas<\/a> will start shortly thereafter, at 11.15<\/strong>, in the same room. <\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n

Programme director Betty Tuller<\/a><\/strong>, National Science Foundation, USA -second opponent <\/div>\n

In connection to the disputas, the workshop Phonology and the Brain<\/a> will be held on Saturday, October 19th at Scandic Ishavshotel. <\/p>\n
