This was originally planned as a workshop within the MONS workshop, but as MONS was postponed until 2022, we decided&nbsp;to have a digital workshop on the original date. Everyone who is interested in sociophonetics, sound change, prosodic analysis or large scale speech analysis, is welcome to join the workshop. The meeting will be held on zoom. Metoden har blitt brukt p\u00e5 flere ulike spr\u00e5k og i ulike forskningsfelt, s\u00e6rlig sosiofonetikk, men ogs\u00e5 L2-forskning, dialektologi, psykolingvistikk og teoretisk lingvistikk. Med hjelp av FA kan man automatisk og raskt ekstrahere store mengder akustisk informasjon p\u00e5 fonetisk niv\u00e5 fra talespr\u00e5kskorpus eller psykolingvistiske elisiteringseksperiment. I de nordiske spr\u00e5kene har denne metoden ikke blitt brukt, av den enkle grunn at det ikke tidligere har eksistert tilgjengelige ressurser. I de siste \u00e5rene har Nathan Young (SU\/UiO\/UiT) utviklet ressurser for svensk, norsk og til en viss grad dansk for FA.<\/p>\n<div>I denne workshopen fokuserer vi p\u00e5 kommende prosjekt som har til form\u00e5l \u00e5 segmentere tilgjengelige norske talespr\u00e5kskorpus (NoTa, UPUS) og databaser (Nordic Word order Database). Vi kommer mer generelt til \u00e5 diskutere hva man kan bruke FA til, og hvilke muligheter FA gir for ny forst\u00e5else av p\u00e5g\u00e5ende og tidligere dialektendringer og oppkomsten av nye sosiolekter. Vi titter b\u00e5de p\u00e5 segmentelle data, f.eks. forandringer i vokaluttale i tid og rom, og suprasegmentelle data, f.eks. hvordan trykk- og aksentm\u00f8nstre varierer i ulike dialekter og ulike syntaktiske kontekster.<\/div>\n<p>Vi h\u00e5per ogs\u00e5 \u00e5 dekke nye bruksm\u00e5ter av FA i psykolingvistisk forskning, der FA kan gi n\u00f8yaktig informasjon om pauser, spr\u00e5kplanlegging og spr\u00e5kfeil, og i tillegg andrespr\u00e5ksforskning.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday (25\/11)&nbsp; a small workshop on Forced Alignment and phonetic analysis. will be held.
