The SALT research group (Syllable Structure: Acquisition, Loss, Typology) has a number of research visitors planned: Gaja Jarosz (UMass Amherst), Rina Kreitman (University of Kent), Chris Golston (CSU Fresno) and Tobias Scheer (Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur, Nice). Students and others interested are encouraged to get in touch and meet with them during their stay!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 27-28 October, we are running the conference The Foundations of Extended Projections<\/a>. The goal of the conference is make progress on understanding the conceptual foundations of extended projections and the \u201cHierarchy of Projections\u201d (HoP) or \u201cfunctional sequence\u201d (fseq). We welcome the submission of abstracts for papers and posters! The deadline is 1 September.
