National CCU Centre

CHOCO is part of an initiative to establish a ‘National CCU centre’. Together with collaborators at UiT, we have recently been granted 4 PhD students to initiate an interdisciplinary project (called iCCU) that will be central to the National CCU centre. Our goal is to build a centre that views CCU in a holistic manner, providing knowledge on all relevant aspects, i.e. chemical and biological CO2 conversion, process optimization, economic viability, industrial needs, and environmental, societal, and ethical aspects.
