Corpore Sano – Technology

“Muithu” in use during practice at Alfheim for detailed feedback purposes.

We are researching end-to-end distributed systems for quantified self purposes that meet future requirements on privacy and security. We are in particular researching evidence-based technologies in the soccer domain, where the goal is to apply insights from this research to carry out future epidemiological validation in larger population groups.

We have previously developed “Muithu“, a portable video annotation system capturing events in real-time during practice and games. We have also developed several versions of “Bagadus“, a novel prototype that demonstrates how next-generation integrated video and location sensor data can be accessed highly efficiently and with fine precision. Deployment of this system is at Alfheim Stadium in Tromsø and the national soccer arena Ullevål in Oslo, Norway.
