The school aimed at the dissemination of advanced scientific knowledge in the field, but also the promotion of international contacts among participants.\u00a0 To foster this, student participants were given opportunities to interact and contribute through lectures, break-out sessions, and poster presentations. The program can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/satis2018\/program\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>SATIS 2018 was organized by the Corpore Sano Network in collaboration with ACM SIGOPS. The event took place at Sommar\u00f8y, a small fishing village outside Troms\u00f8, Norway.
