The event was held at the city library in Troms\u00f8 and a good number of people managed to show up despite the beautiful sunny day.<\/p>\n<p>Just like our website, the launch was multilingual: Marit Westergaard presented the project in Norwegian, followed by Yulia Rodina and Berit Anne Bals Baal, who translated the most important points into Russian and North Sami.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/flerespraaktilflere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2011\/06\/Yulia.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-349 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/flerespraaktilflere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2011\/06\/Yulia-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"Many people sitting and watching a woman giving a presentation.\" width=\"660\" height=\"438\" srcset=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/flerespraaktilflere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2011\/06\/Yulia-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/site.uit.no\/flerespraaktilflere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2011\/06\/Yulia-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After the musical performance of Benoit Tamba, who also sang in several different languages, Antonella Sorace explained in English the benefits of bilingualism. Finally, Elin J\u00f8rgensen\u00a0from Troms\u00f8 Kommune, talked about the project <em>Spr\u00e5kl\u00f8ftet<\/em>. \u00d8ysten Vangsnes, master of ceremonies, entertained the crowd.
