{"id":519,"date":"2022-01-13T10:42:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-13T10:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/gips\/?p=519"},"modified":"2023-06-06T10:46:09","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T10:46:09","slug":"members-from-gips-apply-for-new-development-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/gips\/2022\/01\/13\/members-from-gips-apply-for-new-development-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Members from GIPS apply for new development project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n[et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221;][et_pb_column _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<p><span>The new Nordplus\u00a0application for 2022-2023<\/span><span>\u00a0is\u00a0<\/span><span><strong>Global Teaching for Sustainable Society (GLOSS)<\/strong><\/span><span>\u00a0(to be reviewed spring 22)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Global Teaching for Sustainable Society (GLOSS) is a new\u00a0Nordic\u00a0initiative to\u202fstrategically bring together more\u00a0Nordic\u00a0institutions\u00a0which are involved\u00a0with\u00a0offering student teachers\u00a0both\u00a0virtual and\/or\u00a0physical mobility\u00a0with\u00a0our partners in the\u00a0Global South.\u00a0 In this project, we\u00a0need\u00a0to\u00a0elaborate\u00a0upon\u00a0how the Nordic teacher education institutions together can\u00a0develop intercultural competence\u00a0<\/span><span>and concrete challenges connected to UN\u2019s sustainable development goals (SDG) by bringing our students together\u00a0virtually and physically.\u00a0Few\u00a0academic staff\u00a0in each teacher education\u00a0work with the Global South\u00a0in the Nordic countries.
