We are thrilled to announce the selection of four outstanding UiT students who will embark on a semester abroad at Stellenbosch University in 2024. Each candidate brings a unique perspective and set of expectations to this opportunity, promising an enriching experience ahead.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jone Berg\u00f8y Nedreb\u00f8<\/strong> <\/mark>is eager to immerse himself in new experiences. With a long-standing desire to travel to Africa, Jone views South Africa as a unique opportunity to learn and connect with diverse cultures. He looks forward to exploring the South African landscapes and delving into the local culture, making new friends along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arnvid Parnas Bardal, <\/mark><\/strong>a seasoned traveller,<\/mark> is drawn back to South Africa by its distinct charm. Having visited in 2019, Arnvid\u2019s return is fueled by a desire to deepen his understanding of the region. He anticipates forming friendships with international students and experiencing the vibrant life in and around Stellenbosch and Cape Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Astrid Sandberg<\/strong> <\/mark>sees her exchange at Stellenbosch University as an unmissable opportunity. Astrid hopes to expand her academic and cultural horizons, meet new people, and experience the local cuisine and environment. This exchange promises to be a stepping stone in broadening her global perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maja Sofie Kildal<\/mark><\/strong> is passionate about exploring new cultures and places, with a particular interest in South Africa’s rich history and diversity. Maja is excited about the learning opportunities that await with the faculty at Stellenbosch. She aims to build meaningful personal and professional relationships that will contribute to her studies in Peace and Conflict Transformation and enhance her personal growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
