As spring blooms in South Africa, a group of bright, motivated students from Stellenbosch University is gearing up for an unforgettable semester abroad at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. These incoming students bring with them a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and diverse research interests, ready to immerse themselves in the unique academic and cultural environment of Norway. With a strong background in military history and Africa studies, Ipfi Harrold Ravele<\/mark><\/strong> is excited about the academic opportunities that UiT offers. His current research on the South African Infantry experience in East Africa during 1940-1941 has ignited a passion for exploring similar conflicts from other nations’ perspectives. At UiT, Ipfi looks forward to engaging with scholars and students from diverse backgrounds, enhancing his research skills, and contributing to the academic community.
