Finelmo has developed a water cooled system chimney product for the wood burning stoves. The main idea of the construction is to take heat from the flue gases, where the temperature is in many cases very high. The water cooled chimney is connected to the water based heat storage for the use of this heat for heating and generating warm water.
Ongoing work
In the Case Finelmo the use of the modern flow simulation (CDF) program is demonstrated in the studying of the water circulation in those water cooled chimney modules.
