Dominik Emil Dross

Dominik is engaged at the IRGR as a Research and Project Assistant. He holds a master’s in International Humanitarian Aid (NOHA) (Columbia University N.Y., Uppsala University Sweden and Ruhr-University Bochum Germany) and bachelors in Political Science as well as in History (Dalarna University Sweden). He has also been affiliated to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and been working with the FBA (Folke Bernadotte Academy) on cooperation & coordination issues in UN missions. Previous experience include various posts as a military research assistant. In course of his commitment as a military officer, he has on several occasions been deployed as a UN Peace Keeper to Mali and Lebanon. In his free time, Dominik is researching (PhD) on the prevention of violent extremism (PVE) in local societies in Peace Keeping contexts.
