With global travel at a standstill, a traditional ISGSB conference for 2020 is out of the question. As Europe is beginning to reopen, we are instead planning a small hybrid conference, physically in Europe but with the possibility for people who cannot or choose not to travel to join online.
This hybrid conference will take place 10th to 12th of September 2020, physically in Innsbruck, Austria. It will be small due to limitations on the number of present participants (max. 50 in-place), and it will be liable to be cancelled on short notice should the situation surrounding Corona worsen.
If you plan to attend either online or in-person and want to present your work, the abstract submission is now open: https://nettskjema.no/a/isgsb2020
Abstract submission will remain open until 09th of August.
We hope we’ll see you either in-place or on-screen in September!
Until then, stay safe!
The 19th conference of the International Study Group for Systems Biology (ISGSB) will be held in Stellenbosch, South Africa, from 14-18 September 2020. To advance the ongoing quest of bridging the gap between molecules of the cell, the metabolic and signalling networks they participate in, and the emergent biological phenomena that result from their interactions, this meeting invites contributions from experimental and theoretical biologists, computational modellers and interdisciplinary systems biologists. We look forward to welcoming you in Stellenbosch!
Further information can be found on the conference website.
Update: Owing to the currently ongoing pandemic, the ISGSB 2020 conference has been postponed to 2022. A meeting in 2020 will probably held online. Going forward, information about all events and changes will be posted here.
