Teknikken kalles fauxbourdon (falsk bass) og hadde som vesentlig element parallelf\u00f8ring av sekstakkorder, treklanger med ters i bass.<\/p>\n<p>Ogs\u00e5 i klassisk sammenheng finner vi parallelf\u00f8ring av akkorder. Vi starter med noen eksempler p\u00e5 parallelf\u00f8ring av nettopp sekstakkorder. Legg merke til at parallelf\u00f8ringen medf\u00f8rer akkordf\u00f8lger, som ikke ellers er vanlige, og hvor en harmonisk analyse av enkeltakkorder ikke gir menig.
