With this translation we want to reach an even broader audience for our research, and explain concepts within optics in an easily understood manner. We wish to help with developing and strengthening the use of Northern S\u00e1mi in new contexts.<\/p>\n<p>The Sami languages are spoken and used by the S\u00e1mi indigenous people. Northern S\u00e1mi is the most widely used of the S\u00e1mi languages, with approximately 25,000 speakers in Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
