Ahluwalia was interviewed by the European Commission in relation to frontier research against COVID-19.\u00a0During the interview, prof. Ahluwalia explained the potential of the photonic chip for imaging the COVID-19 at an affordable cost, below EUR 1.000,-. and highlighted the importance of the job done by the scientific community by saying: &#8220;<em>Frontier research does not prepare us for one problem.
