Opstad for successfully defending her doctoral thesis and achieving a Ph.D. in Science. The ceremony took place at the Department of Physics and Technology at the UiT \u2013 The Arctic University of Norway on the 29th of January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The evaluation process included both a trial lecture in\u00a0<strong>\u00abhigh resolution imaging for mechanobiology\u00bb<\/strong>, and a dissertation defense titled <strong>\u00ab<\/strong><strong>Bringing optical nanoscopy to life &#8211; Super-resolution microscopy of living cells<\/strong><strong>\u00bb<\/strong>. It was a great opportunity for Ida to explain her outstanding work in the field of live-cell super-resolution optical microscopy.<\/p>\n<p>The jury committee was formed by\u00a0prof. Bj\u00f8rn Torger Stokke (Department of Physics, NTNU, Norway), assoc. prof.
