NEON is an international research network coordinated from UiT Arctic University of Norway and currently involving researchers from 5 different countries in Europe and America.
The purpose of NEON is to act as a forum for researchers working on the neo-constructionist analysis of ‘morphological’ objects in Spanish, Basque and Catalan. This network aims to be useful as a platform for researchers interested in these topics to both exchange ideas and facilitate the organisation of scientific events devoted to the formal analysis of morphology. The members of NEON share an interest for reducing the types of primitives and operations, searching for the unification of the constraints and principles that determine the shape, meaning and function of words with well-established syntactic, semantic or phonological principles.
