{"id":7,"date":"2021-04-22T07:31:31","date_gmt":"2021-04-22T07:31:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/nets2022\/?page_id=7"},"modified":"2022-05-19T07:06:43","modified_gmt":"2022-05-19T07:06:43","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/nets2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to the 9th Norwegian Environmental Toxicology Symposium in Troms\u00f8"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-page\" data-elementor-id=\"7\" class=\"elementor elementor-7\" data-elementor-post-type=\"page\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-54603c6f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"54603c6f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-c0c95d5\" data-id=\"c0c95d5\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-16042619 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"16042619\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div><p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The <\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">9<sup>th<\/sup> Norwegian Environmental Toxicology Symposium<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-GB\">will be <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">held for the first time at UiT The Arctic University of Norway (Troms\u00f8) in June 2022. <\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: #000000\">NETS\u2019s primary objectives are to bring the Norwegian scientific community, environmental managers and the industry together to share and discuss environmental challenges and solutions related to the protection of the environment.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">NETS2022, <\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">endorsed as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oceandecade.org\">UN Ocean Decade activity<\/a>, <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">will address scientific priorities related to the increasing anthropogenic pressures from global warming and pollution on the world\u2019s oceans.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> The Ocean is a central element of our world providing multiple critical ecosystem services such as climate and nutrient regulation and food resource. Our Oceans are under increasing anthropogenic pressures from global warming and pollution. The understanding of how multiple stressors affect the marine ecosystems and environmental health at large is pressing.
