{"id":1231,"date":"2020-02-04T16:14:24","date_gmt":"2020-02-04T15:14:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/nordco2\/?p=1231"},"modified":"2024-10-11T12:25:58","modified_gmt":"2024-10-11T10:25:58","slug":"new-communication-from-the-skrydstrup-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/nordco2\/2020\/02\/04\/new-communication-from-the-skrydstrup-group\/","title":{"rendered":"New communication from the Skrydstrup group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Abstract<br \/>\n<\/strong>An extensive range of functionalized aliphatic ketones with good functional\u2010group tolerance has been prepared by a Ni<sup>I<\/sup>\u2010promoted coupling of either primary or secondary alkyl iodides with NN<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0pincer Ni<sup>II<\/sup>\u2010acyl complexes. The latter were easily accessed from the corresponding Ni<sup>II<\/sup>\u2010alkyl complexes with stoichiometric CO. This Ni\u2010mediated carbonylative coupling is adaptable to late\u2010stage carbon isotope labeling, as illustrated by the preparation of isotopically labelled pharmaceuticals.
