The project description of a new PhD student includes a tentative plan over PhD courses to take. This plan has to be approved by the Head of Department and the Faculty of Science and Technology. It is possible to change this plan during the PhD. After fulfilling the courses but before defending the thesis, the PhD students needs to get the instruction component approved by the Faculty using an application form. Reugulations on the instruction component as well as the mentioned application form can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/uit.no\/phd-en#v-pills-675448\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">uit.no\/phd.<\/a> Application to PhD courses is done via <a href=\"https:\/\/fsweb.no\/studentweb\/login.jsf?inst=FSUIT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Studentweb<\/a>.
