Vi organiserar t.ex v\u00e5rden i somatisk respektive psykiatrisk v\u00e5rd, och ibland kan vi l\u00e4sa i pressen om patienter som upplevt sig hamna &#8220;mellan stolarna&#8221;. Sett ur ett helhetsperspektiv s\u00e5 fungerar inte den uppdelningen.<\/p>\n<p>Det vi t\u00e4nker, k\u00e4nner och g\u00f6r \u00e4r beroende av fysiologiska processer som h\u00f6r samman med hur v\u00e5r hj\u00e4rna utvecklats. Att m\u00e4nniskor reagerar som de g\u00f6r, t ex med ilska och aggressivitet d\u00e5 de k\u00e4nner sig hotade, \u00e4r &#8211; precis som att andra drar sig undan eller blir handlingsf\u00f6rlamade &#8211; s\u00e5ledes naturligt.<\/p>\n<p>Samtidigt som dessa reaktioner finns kvar, s\u00e5 har utvecklingen gjort det m\u00f6jligt f\u00f6r oss att ocks\u00e5 reflektera \u00f6ver v\u00e5ra reaktioner, och att \u00e5terf\u00e5 balans i systemet.
