Miguel visiting Giovanni in Rome

PhD student Miguel is in Rome for two weeks working closely with Professor Giovanni Sebastiani.

Phuong presenting our work at IEEE BHI!

Our research “Reinforcement Learning Optimal Control for Type-1 Diabetes” was presented at the IEEE Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI) 2018 (4-7 March 2018). BHI is the flagship conference of IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (IEEE-EMBS) on the topics of informatics and computing in healthcare and life sciences.

Visit from Italy!

Professor Giovanni Sebastiani has once again visited the group. On the agenda this time was getting a mathematical overview over the three most widely used simulators for T1DM. More precisely  the Hovorka/Cambridge simulator, the UVA/Padova model and Bergman’s minimal model.
