R\u00f8d has a background in social anthropology, and brings the methodological approach of participatory observation. He wrote his MA thesis on local practices for coping with natural disasters <\/span>in the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>His PhD-project focuses on teacher in different contexts, where he will focus on which variables come into play and whether these can be changed in order to counteract the spatial challenges that teachers and students experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0A big welcome to Daniel!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Daniel R\u00f8d joined the RUR-ED team as a PhD fellow on September 13.
