Geology – more than rocks

What are fossils?

Fossils are the remains of organisms that have lived on Earth, or their tracks. It doesn’t have to be animals, also plants, algae and sponges can be found as fossils.

Working with fossils is a puzzle game, typically with less than half of the pieces in preserved, and no picture on the box to look at.

How are tracks preserved?

What´s in these boxes?

Inside are fossils which you can dig out yourself. The boxes are open on some occasions, ask at the museum for the next time.
