What´s in these boxes?

Inside are objects which you can dig out yourself. The boxes are open on some occasions, ask at the museum for the next time.

Everywhere in Northern-Norway there are traces of Stone Age settlements, e.g. at Tønsnes near Tromsø.

In Finnmark, between 300 and 400 sites of peat houses of the Late Stone Age are found. These houses had several rooms and often more than one entrance.
