Note that this estimation is only valid if one assumes that the detected ground disturbances are solely caused by the ionospheric Hall currents.<\/p>\n<p>The Scandinavian time series are available within the framework of the Nordic Virtual Observatory project of Troms\u00f8 Geophysical Observatory (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tgo.uit.no\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TGO<\/a>), the Finnish Meteorological Institute (<a href=\"https:\/\/ilmatieteenlaitos.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FMI<\/a>), Sodankyl\u00e4 Geophysical Observatory (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sgo.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SGO<\/a>), and the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.irf.se\/sv\/start\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IRF<\/a>).
