{"id":63,"date":"2014-07-16T15:38:51","date_gmt":"2014-07-16T13:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/spaceweather\/?p=63"},"modified":"2014-07-16T15:38:51","modified_gmt":"2014-07-16T13:38:51","slug":"service-supporting-resource-exploitation-system-operators-resoss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/spaceweather\/2014\/07\/16\/service-supporting-resource-exploitation-system-operators-resoss\/","title":{"rendered":"Service Supporting Resource Exploitation System Operators (RESOSS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the ESA SSA program preparatory phase project SN-VI Provision of Space Weather Additional Services led by Rhea Group, Troms\u00f8 Geophysical Observatory (TGO) and the Norwegian Mapping Authority are developing a Service Supporting Resource Exploitation System Operators (RESOSS).<\/p>\n<p>The RESOSS service shall provide near real-time information about geomagnetic disturbances which primarily affect directional drilling and aeromagnetic surveys, and ionospheric disturbances which primarily affect GNSS-based services.<\/p>\n<p>The service is expected to be ready for testing by users around the European Space Weather week in November.
