Her major scholarly publications include the monograph <em>Actional Inclination toward Limit in Russian and Stability in Japanese: A Contrastive Study on Russian and Japanese Verbal Aspect<\/em> (<em>Genkai-shikoo no Roshiago to Antei-shikoo no Nihongo<\/em>, Hituzi Syobo, 2022) and a Japanese co-translation of Yu. S. Maslov\u2019s <em>Ocherki po Aspektologii<\/em> (<em>Asupekuto-ron<\/em>, Hituzi Syobo, 2018). He currently serves as President of the Korean Association of Slavic Languages and as Director of the Institute for the Humanities at Sungkyunkwan University. His primary research area is Cognitive Linguistics, with a particular focus on Russian and Korean. He has conducted extensive research on the semantic and cognitive aspects of language and has published numerous articles in leading domestic and international journals, including Russian Linguistics and Slavic and East European Journal. His research seeks to provide objective and rational descriptions of linguistic meaning through the quantitative analysis of empirical language data. Building on this work, Dr. Ahn explores innovative approaches to Russian language education while actively pursuing interdisciplinary research that connects linguistics with fields such as artificial intelligence, economics, and other philological studies. In 1998, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences (equivalent to a PhD). In 2000, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. In Russia, he taught at Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute in Moscow, as well as at B.N. Yeltsin Ural Federal University and Ural State Pedagogical University in Yekaterinburg. From 2009 to 2012, and again from 2013 to the present, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Russian Studies at the Institute of European Languages and Cultures at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China. He is the author of more than one hundred academic and teaching-methodological publications, including the textbook <em>\u0417\u0434\u0440\u0430\u0432\u0441\u0442\u0432\u0443\u0439, \u0413\u0443\u0430\u043d\u0434\u0443\u043d!<\/em>, co-authored with Professor Ke Yang.
