February 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By <a href=\"http:\/\/uit.no\/om\/enhet\/ansatte\/person?p_document_id=207729&amp;p_dimension_id=88116\">Helle J\u00f8rgensen<\/a>, Advisor TREC<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>From 5-6th February we arranged our twice a year TREC seminar at beautiful <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sommar%C3%B8y\">Sommar\u00f8y<\/a><\/strong><\/em> <strong><em>outside Troms\u00f8. The seminar aims to gather TREC members and partners to share knowledge and new ideas for research.<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/trec\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/204\/2015\/02\/IMG_0123.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-267 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/trec\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/204\/2015\/02\/IMG_0123-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0123\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The seminar was a great success! Over forty participants, including our partners from University of North-Carolina, University of California San Diego, Leiden University Medical Centre and Oslo University Hospital joined us for two days filled with interesting presentations and inspiring discussions.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The seminar was built up around TREC\u2019s four work packages; <em>Gene-environmental <a href=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/trec\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/204\/2015\/02\/stamp1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-273\" src=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/trec\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/204\/2015\/02\/stamp1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"stamp1\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>interactions in venous thrombosis, Microparticles in venous thrombosis, Complement, Inflammation, and proteomics and Arterial and venous thrombosis<\/em>.
