VTE is a combined term and the formation of blood clot in a blood vessel, most commonly deep vein of leg (called deep vein thrombosis) is its major cause. Even with an increased use of blood-thinning medicines and the development of diagnostic procedures during the last few decades, the formation of blood clot in the deep veins of the body remains a major problem and this should be given proper attention. TREC seminar at Sommarøy is a significant biannual academic and social event arranged by TREC and attended by its members and other partner-members coming to Sommarøy from around the world. White sand beaches, lakes with clear and vibrant water, steep mountains covered with snow and breathtaking scenery makes Sommarøy one of the world’s most attractive tourist spot in all weathers.

3 people like this post.

Like

Unlike

Hi, I am Nadia Arshad, working as a Doctorate candidate in the clinical epidemiology of venous thromboembolism (VTE) at Thrombosis Research Expertise Centre (TREC).
