They come from 10 different countries in 3 continents.<\/p>\n<p>For each <strong>individual<\/strong> dataset in TROLLing, <strong>download statistics<\/strong> is available in the metrics bar:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/trolling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/193\/2016\/12\/TROLLing_metrics.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-264\" src=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/trolling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/193\/2016\/12\/TROLLing_metrics-300x44.png\" alt=\"trolling_metrics\" width=\"300\" height=\"44\" srcset=\"https:\/\/site.uit.no\/trolling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/193\/2016\/12\/TROLLing_metrics-300x44.png 300w, https:\/\/site.uit.no\/trolling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/193\/2016\/12\/TROLLing_metrics.png 399w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, as of today the archive software does not provide any <strong>aggregated statistics<\/strong> for the entire TROLLing archive. We have pulled out this kind of statistics manually. Here are some overall numbers:<\/p>\n<p>As of November 18 2017, there are <strong>60 published datasets<\/strong>\u00a0containing <strong>560 files<\/strong> in TROLLing, and there has been a total of <strong>3 503 downloads<\/strong>\u00a0of entire datasets or single files in the TROLLing archive. <strong>At average<\/strong>, this means that each dataset has been downloaded <strong>58 times<\/strong>. \u00a0The most frequently requested dataset has been downloaded 329 times.<\/p>\n<p>The data in TROLLing cover a wide range of fields within linguistics, such as phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and lexicon, studied from different perspectives (synchronic, diachronic, acquisition, language technology, sociolinguistics).<\/p>\n<p>The types of data include tables, charts, audio, video, scripts, and experimental methods.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of November 18 2017, a total of 55 linguists have\u00a0contributed their data to TROLLing.
