TUNU is the Greenlandic word for Northeast Greenland. The TUNU Euro-arctic marine fishes – diversity and adaptation is a long term research programme aiming to broaden the knowledge of Northeast Greenland fishes. Cruises are conducted regularly and the participating scientists are taxonomists, ecologists, toxicologists, physiologists and geologists.

The programme is led by Prof. Jørgen Schou Christiansen from UiT The Arctic University of Norway.
