VISCAM PROJECT – Film Archives
FilmCam Archives is a collection of films and thesis based on research in Africa by former students and professors of Visual Anthropology program at The Arctic University of Norway. The collection emphasizes the huge diversity of the African continent and the variety of recurrent themes that appear in the students’ research such as: migration, gender, religion, war and education.
In order to emphasize the South-North perspectives we have also selected films from Norway as well as some examples from Japan, Nepal and the USA which provide additional points of view.
