Du fait de la violence et des enl\u00e8vements orchestr\u00e9s par des criminels dans leur village, les Pitti ne pouvaient plus mener leur mode de vie traditionnel de pasteurs. L\u2019\u00e8re de la libert\u00e9 et de richesse est r\u00e9volu et par cons\u00e9quent, leurs grands troupeaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cim\u00e9s. Leur b\u00e9tail a \u00e9t\u00e9 vendu pour payer des ran\u00e7ons. Les nomades sont contraints de fuir et de se s\u00e9dentariser. S&#8217;adapter \u00e0 une \u00e9conomie mon\u00e9taire est un d\u00e9fi majeur et en m\u00eame temps une humiliation pour les Pitti.
