He is currently working with analysis of time series collected from seabed observatories offshore West Spitsbergen.
He obtained his Master degree in physical oceanography from the University of Bergen and the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS) where he wrote a thesis in fjord oceanography. He joined the Department of Geosciences at UiT The Arctic University of Norway in 2016.
